Don’t Miss the H-1B Visa Deadline on April 1

If you or your company depends on H-1B visas for “Specialty Occupation” professionals, the time to start the application process is NOW.

  • The USCIS starts taking H-1B applications on April 1, 2017
  • There’s an H-1b visa applicant cap of 65,000 that makes applying early imperative.
  • Once the cap is met, a lottery system goes into effect.

Often, the USCIS exhausts the cap within the first 5 business days of the April 1 deadline. Contact our office immediately or learn more on the H-1B visa application deadline.

“Matt is extremely knowledgeable about every aspect of the immigration process, and takes the time to thoroughly and effectively communicate with his clients. My biggest regret—as someone who initially thought that he could handle the process on his own—was that I didn’t involve Matt in the process sooner.”

- Dr. Michael Rotkowitz
University of Maryland Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering and the Institute for Systems Research

“His fees are very reasonable and certainly fair! My opinion is there are many lawyers who claim to be immigration specialists but their primary interest is hearing the ring of their cash register. Matt is different. Be reassured Matt Shaftel is one of the best and most reliable immigration attorneys in Colorado.”

- John Sichel

“Shaftel Law has unparalleled expertise on the legal side, but what separates their team is their ability to see each case as a combination of human and legal interests that must intersect for the best overall outcome. They may be legal experts, but their sensitivity to business and personal concerns is the reason we now use them for 100% of our immigration work.”
