Alondra Sifuentes – Paralegal at Shaftel Law

Alondra joined Shaftel Law in 2022 after working at a Worker’s Compensation law firm. Alondra received her bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a minor in Leadership and Ethnic Studies from the University of Colorado – Boulder and graduated in 2020.

Alondra comes from a family of immigrants, and her passion to help others began at a young age through academics. Taking classes in high school surrounding social justice and ethnic studies sparked her interest. She continued to take ethnic studies and social justice courses during her time as an undergraduate student. Alondra is bilingual in English and Spanish.

 

Madeleyn “Maddie” Alvarez  – Paralegal at Shaftel Law

Madeleyn, who goes by Maddie, joined Shaftel Law in 2023. Maddie has a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice with a minor in psychology from the Metropolitan State University of Denver. She is a CLLARO (Colorado Latino Leadership, Advocacy, and Research Organization) alumni. She actively worked alongside state legislators introducing and creating new laws for the state of Colorado in 2022.

Immigration reform was one of her top policy interests while working inside of the State’s Capitol. Her interest in immigration grew from her and her family’s story; where they came from and what they have overcome. Maddie aims to pursue higher education in Legal Studies. She has a longtime dream of helping others. Maddie is bilingual in English and Spanish!
